Every book or document is a unique artifact. Thus, the specific condition of your books will guide me in making recommendations for their repair, safe use, and proper housing, according to your priorities, plans for use, and budget, and following conservation ethics and principles

 

Because each book has individual needs, I can provide an estimate based on photographs, but I must see the book itself in order to provide a firm quote. Additional problems may reveal themselves as I look through the book or even as I work. I will always share further concerns with the book’s owner and discuss both the implications of additional problems and any adjustments to the cost of repair.
